Looking for some advice please,
I currently work full time evening work but have a Daughter of 21 with special needs she goes to collage three days a week, whilst i am at work my son takes over her care.
but he is now looking to move out and get his own place which would mean that there would be know one at home to care for my daughter whilst i am working, i am currently looking for a job that would work around her, there is no option for me to go onto days in my current job.
What i am asking is should the worst happen and i don't mange to find other employment before my son leaves and have to give up work does anyone know what the benefit sanction would be.
Any advice would be great full.

presuming that your daughter receives either DLA middle rate care or PIP...
you would claim Carers Allowance and an Income Support top up. you would also receive a carers premium which would bring your total to around £107 a week.
you would also receive housing benefit ( if applicable) and council tax support.
if your daughter does not receive DLA/PIP then you would need to claim JSA. as you have a valid reason for leaving your current hob, i doubt that any sanction would be applied.
it does sound like your daughter should be receiving DLA/PIP if she cannot be left alone so if she isnt, you should apply
