Chistmas Eve hamper (children)

Options
151 days to go :)
With a lot of the high street stores having huge sales on at the moment, I thought itd be a good idea to start getting bits in for my kids Christmas Eve hampers, I have 4, hence the starting early :)
So far I have bought pyjamas, slipper socks and 4 Christmas mugs.
I plan on making reindeer hot chocolate pouches for them, Christmas themed gingerbread men, a Christmas dvd for them all to watch, letters from Santa, reindeer dust, and their stockings, which they hang on their doors on Christmas Eve and I fill with little bits and bobs from the pound shop, crayons, colouring books, bubble bath little bag of sweets ect
If you do hampers, what do you put in yours?:xmastree:
Skint, but happy (ish):p

    My DS will be turning 14 on 13 December.

    I will still do him a hamper for Christmas Eve, but will leave out such things as reindeer food and a special key for Santa ;) however, I will be putting in the following:

    Onesie
    Christmas tree decoration
    Christmas socks
    Christmas bubble bath
    Christmas bath bomb from Lush
    Chocolate orange
    Suitable Christmas DVD (Simpsons or the like)
    Bottle of coke
    Bag of microwave popcorn
    Book if David Walliams has a new one out or if there is a new Diary of a Wimpy Kid one out.

    I started a Xmas Eve hamper a few years ago after reading about it on here. My eldest now 14, outgrew it after the first year, though he'll happily munch any consumables in it! Youngest at 11 still adores it. I only put in things that I wish them to do on Xmas Eve. As they were older when I started it, we already had the santa stop here signs and magic keys and cookie plates so these would only be in if we needed a new one. Instead ours would contain things like new pjs,
    bubble bath, shampoo, dvd, something to eat and drink whilst watching a dvd. The smellies tended to be the little sachets you can get, or a bath bomb from somewhere like lush- one use sort of items.

    I'm going to make a small family one for the 3 of us, ( DS is 3) but re use what Dh and I have already to cut the costs so..

    * pjs for son & Christmas slipper socks
    *Clean Christmas pjs for us and Christmas socks ( already have)
    * Christmas DVD
    * re use our Christmas mugs , just need to get Ds one
    * snowman soup
    * reindeer food
    * The night before Christmas book ( already have)
    * snacks

    I intend to leave it out as a surprise, so when we get in from our afternoon walk, Ds will find it, and will enjoy delving in, distributing the goodies and generally bossing us about!

    New onesie, slippers & eye mask for dd14
    Elf dvd
    popcorn and chocs to eat whilst watching elf
    2 x snowman soup and santa cookies for before bed
    wine - for me
    beer - for dh
    4 x lush bathbombs (one each)
    christmas colouring sheets
    felt tips
    christmas reading book
    new tree ornament
    and all the "yearly items": santa stop sign, santas plate, reindeer food, and santas key!

    Just the onesie, wine, beer & chocs to get, and colouring sheets to print off!
    It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.
