Guest house in garden, cost of sewer and water pipes?

There can be no ball park figure. The cost would depend entirely on where the existing drainage was situated. You need to know the exact position of the existing drains. This is not difficult to establish, as you can normally see the inspection chamber lids..

I'll dig out the paperwork shortly. It certainly wasn't in the tens of £1000s.
Overall build cost was about £45k, but it's a brick built extension with 2 floors.............Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

Ask the vendors?
Without proper info, no-one can do other than take a wild guess. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Not a wild guess no, the sewer libe runs through the front garden and there is a downstairs toilet on the outside wall at the rear of the property. And I have no intention of letting the vendor know that we have money to potentially build a small cottage at the end of the garden!0 -
Checked our paperwork. We paid £1600 for all of the plumbing (including loo, sink and shower wastes and pipework from the house and to the sewer), and £100 for the hand dug trough for the pipework. This was a simple thing though, as the sewer connection was in the back garden already behind the kitchen where the spur for the water feed was taken. So nothing had to be routed around anything else.
Hope this helps.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
