Natwest Credit Card refund

In June I received a letter from Natwest CCards stating that my previously cancelled card had a credit amount of £75 remaining that they were going to pay into my Natwest bank account the following week. I'm still waiting and so phoned them today to be told they are aware there's a problem and I got the feeling it wasn't just me.
They told me that the balance on the card now shows as £0 so it looks like they've given me the money back but they have an " issue " that they're dealing with because they're aware I haven't received it! Why didn't they tell me about this problem? This all seems a bit suspicious to me.
Any one else that's received the same letter might want to check their account to see if they've received the money.
