First time we have ever ordered of them, having previously purchased a "Made in China2 metal bed frame which squeaked worse than the squeakiest of mice, we got a king size divan base for £199, it has 4 drawers two of which are smaller to allow for bedside cabinets is a belter, it came today plenty of notice via phone calls before it arrived, they put it in the room of choice and even unpacked it and set it up for us, cheerful chappies and the quality is fantastic, really am impressed, the company even rang later that day to check everything was okay :j
In a world where customer service is nothing more than a joke, I found the level of professionalism and being treated like an actual customer a breath of fresh air. The divan base is a sprung one too and the double retails at £179 and imho is very luxurious considering the price.
The made in china frame is going to the recycling centre as I feel i could not lie to people and who would buy a very very squeaky bedstead intentionally?

Dunelm always annoy me due to their lack of grindstones and water wheels.0

Put the bed on freecycle, you can be honest that it squeaks, but someone may be in desperate need of a bed, something being better than nothing.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I wish I could Keri, up until a few years ago we had a very good freecycle website, now because of petty infighting :rotfl: it is no more, since then our local recycling centre has been the recipient of stuff I am sure others would have snapped up. I would love nothing more for someone to come and pick up my unwanted goods, but as said its very very difficult when the world apparently stops at Swansea

On Dunelm, I did a store locator and WOW they're a pretty big outfit and surprised we only recently heard of them, plus there is a lack of bad feedback regarding them.0 -
You could always advertise it on the Bridgend Freecycle group, there are already some members on there in Swansea.
Nice to hear about the service from Dunelm.0
