Hi, Butlins these days is nothing like it used to be, so youre knees are gonna be safe, lol. Ive taken my family lots of times to all of the resorts. personally i prefer Minehead as its in such a beautiful part of the country. most facilities are pretty much the same on all resorts but minehead often seems to have a better range of entertainment. some of the shows tour all 3 butlins but for the cabaret acts that dont minehead seem to put on a better variety. in my opinion the other 2 rely too heavily on tribute acts, whereas minehead have a good variety of comedy, magic, bands etc. If you are not limited to going in the kids holidays its always calmer during term time. regardless of when you go though the clubs do get pretty busy, so for a good seat (or sometimes for a seat at all) go early. hope you have as much fun as we do. go to butlins website for more info on facilities etc. i would definatley reccomend the swimming pool, and the master blaster (the swiimming pools roller coaster style boat ride)if its working. anyway have fun and if you want more specific info, feel free to contact me or go to http://www.butlinsmemories.com/forums/index.php
theyre all experts and im sure will help
keep smiling
