Best place to buy an integrated dishwasher - with installation

I need to get a new integrated dishwasher for a flat that I am letting out.

It's an integrated one so costs a bit more than standard freestanding. The fitting charges seem really high.

AO won't do it.
John Lewis charges £85!
Curry's charges £90!

Does anyone know a good place to get it that doesnt charge a fortune for fitting?

If that fitting price includes VAT, its really not extortionate what would be about an 1-1.5 hour to remove plinth, remove appliance, remove door, redrill and fit door, fit and level, reconnect water/waste and refit plinths and test.

Buy your machine yourself and then ask some plumbers for a quotes

An installer will charge you top notch for both the machine and the fitting.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

OP, I do think you are not aware of how much things cost to get installed now. The guy will be working in his own business, if you buy from JL. He will most likely deliver it in the back of his ( maybe) tatty transit van.

He will have to do all what has been stated above plus wiring it in, so £85-90 is not a bad price.

If you want it doing cheaper, there are plenty of unskilled conmen out there who will do it for maybe £50, but you will have no comeback if it blows up in your face !

Have you contacted your local Euronics centre, have the same ranges JL have, but usually cheaper.

    www.euronics.co.uk for your local store.

I've been quoted £60 by a small local electrical store. I've had jobs done by them so am going ahead.

However, I've ordered my dishwasher from Aol and if I'd ordered it from somewhere that offered fitting, even if it cost a little more, I would have got them to do it. My price includes uninstalling the old dishwasher though, so would expect it to possibly cost more than installing a new one. Although I already have the pipework so not sure if that would make much of a difference time and cost wise.

OK thanks all. I guess I underestimated what was needed.

I'm going to try and order it from a place that includes fitting as part of the service as it is just easier than coordinating two sets of people.
