benefits cap question

Hi
I have just received my benefits cap grace period form that ive filled in.
it says that if you get working tax credits then the cap doesn't affect you.
im currently unemployed on jsa so the cap does affect me. however I have found a job that starts next month.
This will entitle me to working tax credits (from next month)...
Will the DWP be automatically notified when I start receiving working tax credits meaning the cap will not affect my entitlement? I ask because when they receive the form they will adjust the cap meaning I get housing benefit reduced, but after a month once I start my new job I will get tax credits so the cap should no longer apply..
do I contact DWP or will they know automatically and no longer apply the cap once I have started work?
hope this makes sense.
Thanks

Goodness, surely you won't be getting £500 in benefits plus your income from work?0

once you start working and claiming working tax credit ( over 25 , no children working 30+ hours .... couple with children working 24+ hours ... single parent working 16+ hours) you will no longer have any dealings with the DWP so no benefit cap could be applied.
once you start working you tell your council of the change of circumstances and your entitlement will be worked out from there

Depends on rent, how many children, etc.
You have to inform DWP of any changes.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

The DWP should notify your local council so they won't cap your Housing Benefit. These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0

durely as long as the OP meets the criteria for wtc the no DW{ benefits would be payable anyway, and so, the DWP would be unable to place any cap on them0
