If all you want is a set of white earphones no if you want an mp3 player that can play video and store a lot of stuff then yes.
It all depends on what you want, 20GB is fine for mostpeople who want to carry a lot of music arround with them and I mean a lot I drive 4-7 hours most days and I go through about 15GB every 3 weeks and I do skip a few albums. I have my sony HD3 wired in to my car stereo as a cd multichanger so it does get used a lot.0

            big version = 80gb
 small version = 30gb
i prefer the smaller one - sleeker design; the 80gb is quite chunky. 30GB is a lot of music and has space for all your photos and things should you need it. I don't think the extra is really worth it. Rumour has it Apple will bring out new ones soon in the shape of 40gb, 80gb and 120gbHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I have an 80gb Ipod and have used it for music, converted 6 /7 dvds so far, and sync'd with Outlook 2003.
I also have a cable that links it to a tv so it in effect a very portable dvd player as well.
Still only used up about 15 gig.
It was a present, its nice, but a little expensive.0

Any reason you are going for the Apple Ipod over another (cheaper) brand?0

I thought I'd never fill 30GB, but I'm now at 19GB (after 13 months) and seriously wish I'd bought the bigger drive model.
I love my Ipod. I use it for 90% music and 10% video for hols and stuff and I'm sure I'll use it more for podcasts etc when I understand them better.
Go for the biggest drive model you can get!
