Husband left. .what happens to joint tax credit claim..

Hello As above.
Husband left marital home. Only receive child tax credit. What happens to our joint claim? Only moved out 4 days ago. Does joint end..and new claim papers sent out for single claim if eligible?

    You need to call tax credits to advise of a change in circumstances, meaning that you want to go from a joint claim to a single claim. They will suspend the joint claim until it is cancelled, and send you out the forms for a single claim.
