M&S Bank - speed of PPI payout

Morning all
M&S Bank recently offered us a welcome refund on PPI paid on an old store card from back in the early 2000s.

As the account and payments made to it were by my ex and I, I am happy to give her a half share of resulting payout.

However, having now told her what we will get back I am now getting near daily contacts from her asking when I expect to receive dosh!

There's no useful contact details on the paperwork that came with the M&S Bank offer to repay, nor on the relevant website.

So, do any contributors to the MSE forums know how long M&S Bank take to payout on an accepted PPI claim offer?

I have to say that their conduct has been exemplary over recent weeks in sorting out the issue.

How long is a piece of string? Both you and she will just have to be patient.
I'd only start chasing them once six weeks have elapsed, but you should be paid long before then.

Hiya,

I had a refund from Marks and Spencer a couple of years ago and once i had my notification letter it took the whole 28 days that they advise to get the money, it was paid into my bank.. i got a text notification when it hit my bank account.

I found M&S to be really good, by unfortunately you do have to be patient and will have to wait.
