Dixons Online Sales

Ok I've already vented my anger over this group DSG international...

Customer service is next to none exactly a big fat zero....

in brief detail I ordered a laptop it got delivered, it was faulty they tried to palm me off with a repair even though it was only a day old offered a replacement on return, accepted the return got e-mail to comfirm what they said. After 2 weeks waiting for the courier to be arranged finally sent it back and they issued a refund less the delivery and collection.. supposed to be a replacement..they said refund will take 4-7 working days after 10 days i called them, they said it had cleared and been classed as finish on their half. Still no refund in the bank. it has now been 1.5 months since it was ordered. I've sent several E-mails with no response. Seems like a BIG company that will not listen to the little guy...................................................................................................

Well just Happens a family friend is a solicitor who came round for a drink the other day, I told her what was going on and she has Started court action against them on my behalf for free.

it's going to cost them a lot more now hopefully!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well done, if you haven't warned them before issuing court action you will quite possibly lose out on the court fees. A much simpler soloution would have been to contact you credit card (if paid that way) and get a refund thorugh them or actually write to them - emails and phone calls get lost in the system far too easily.

They wont get involved. Even though its the same group its a different "arm" of that group.

Had the same argument with them over a broken laptop last year. Purchased from Dixons but currys and PC World had the replacement model in stock. Despite this they could not work with either PC World or Currys to resolve the issue, even though the refunds/replacement telephone number goes to the same CS!

So if you have a problem in Pizza Hut you would go to KFC to complain after all they are part of the same company

Well I bought a laptop last year from Curry's online and it was despatched by a Dixons warehouse!!! bought memory from PC- world and Dixons said write to the complaints dept and we will refund me for it.

and Blacksheep thanks, I have warned them in an E-mail that I would seek legal advice if they failed to respond.

by the way they still have my money! but as you lot have said contact your credit card company and start a charge back (already in the process of doing).

My friend is not bothered about any fees by the way she said she will do her best to get it resolved out of court.

Probably because Dixons, Currys & PC World all use the same warehouses :D
