I only have one friend, my ex and even she turned against me when I said I was finding it too hard. She said "I hated my job and went home every night and cried" and also that I should grow some balls, man up, other stuff.
listen to your friend.....
I hate work , its a waste of a life. it depresses me sometimes, to think I spend most of my life working and don't get enough out of working the hours I do. my body is tired and I feel mentally drained sometimes. BUT its tuff and that's life.
You have only said this is causing you some physical discomfort... Well as others have said you get used to it and the body adapts.0 -
I quit the job. Argued with the manager. He didn't see my concerns.
I tried making a claim for JSA and had an interview yesterday with the reason that the job was temporary. They said they'd confirm with the employer to see if it was true and that's where it's going to come unstuck.
What will happen now with the jobcentre?
Other than this, I've been to see the council and they've given me a food bag with groceries and biscuits. I'm thinking about volunteering for a food bank.0 -
I think this is a wind up.0

I'm sorry but it's not. But funnily, I have been compared to a real-life Alan Partridge and when I was arguing with the manager, he thought he must be on Beadle's About.0

It's already been hinted - less then 4 weeks service?
Always remember right of appeal
No judging, I still argue with my leader nearly 6 months on
You gave it a go, I've been you and you can get back on the horse, it's not over x0 -

No, it's not funny, it's shocking, and shows exactly the cases that people are thinking of when they talk about sanctions being appropriate.0 -
Bl00dy h3ll. you quit after 4 weeks ?.
One thing is for certain, you will get a sanction from the jobcentre, however, as you appear to suffer from depression, you can get you Dr to sign you off so you can claim ESA instead.
I'm into my 2nd full week at my new job and the place is really haphazard but at least they gave me an H & S induction when I started (unlike Wilkin & Son).Never Knowingly Understood.

.
Jobcentre will send a letter to your former employer.
If your former employer tells them you quit, you'll get sanctioned.
Many employers don't respond.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”
