Gumtree private sale problem

Hi guys,
I'm new and really need some advice
About 3 months ago I sold an iPhone on gumtree to my knowkedge it was unlocked,although I never actually put this on the advert, anyway after 3 months 3 months later I'm being bombarded with threatening texts (about 50 a day) saying how he knows were I live how hes going to find me etc
At the point of sale I asked him to check it over he switched it on was happy with it and never heard from him until now!
He's saying he's going to sue me for the money back what rights does he have ? Will he be successful ? Im at a loss for what to do and quite scared if I'm honest I'm a single mum of two babies and he knows were I live x

Keep the texts and go to the police,a friend of mine has just had the same problem she went to the police and they went to see the person sending them and they have stopped.She put up with it for 3 weeks before she went to the police because she did not think they would be interested.0

Police seem to be taking a hot interest in harassment cases for now, no idea why it's been ramped up, but can only be a good thing.💙💛 💔0
