So confused reg POPLA. PLS HELP

I got a PCN addressed to my ex husband (who is the registered keeper of car) from civil enforcement for overstaying 18 mins extra in a 45 min free car park for Heron foods. Came across this site and wrote the first letter of appeal from template, thanks to coupon-mad, who directed me in the right direction. Received letter today saying they are unable to cancel charge. Im not very good with writing letters and so confused. Do i appeal or just pay the reduced amount of £60 within the 14 days they have extended. Any help appreciated.

First upload pics to tinypic.coml or some other host and then post here with the http:// missing. A regular will fill in for you.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0

Presumably you appealed as registers keeper.
On post 3 of the newbie thread click on the words "how to win at POPLA". There are several templates there.
There is a civil enforcement one, but read it carefully as some of the informaTion will be different. It may be better to base appeal on a parking eye one for a free car park.
Presumably you have also complained to Heron foods and asked them to get the PCN cancelled.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Thanks Dee. Will try the link thing when my sons free.
I complained to Heron foods as I am a regular customer there but the manager refused to help saying he couldn't get involved:(0 -
...or didn't want to get involved.
Try head office: http://www.heronfoods.com/Contact.aspx and if they can't help you, let them know your will be boycotting their store along with all your friends, neighbours and family!**********************************************

sd. it may seem a bit confusing but it costs the ppc money if you fight the ticket so stick with it.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

The way I read that sign Heron Foods customers are restricted to 45 minutes' parking, anyone else can park for as long as they wish!
Anyway, there are plenty of PoPLA appeal templates hereabouts so no-one is going to write another one for you from scratch, you need to make some effort yourself. So have a go and post it up here before you send it. There is enough in that sign to make it a no-GPEOL win if you emphasise the relevant bits e.g. "If you exceed the free parking allowance...". Also their letter makes it crystal clear that the charge is intended as a deterrent.Je suis Charlie.0 -
Thanks guys.
Don't worry bazster I'm not asking for anyone to write one from scratch for me. Just want points and advice from the experienced ones on here for me to work on. So thanks bazster for your points.0 -

if its too much for you to deal with , you can pay parkingticketappeals to do it all for you
but if doing it yourself you will have to put the work in, double dutch or not
post #3 of the NEWBIES sticky thread has loads of appeals from the link in blue writing , plenty to adapt in notepad from there0
