How to input radio code in Corsa CD30 MP3?
Battery went flat - the radio now beeps and says program radio. I have the radio code in my paperwork but cant find any info either in my manual or on the internet on how to input the code.
Evans Halshaw quoting me £54 for this (although i can sign up for master fit for free and get a £25 voucher) - this seems a bit steep when i have the code.
Thanks in advance for any help:beer:

IIRC it needs to be plugged into a Tech2 computer to recode it.0

That might be the answer - I hope it is, OP, but the 'program radio' message suggested to me that it's wanting to be married to the car electronics rather than just needing the code, which I thought put a 'SAFE' message on the display.0 -
Try disconnecting the battery, or remove the radio and refit it, maybe the battery going flat and being recharged upset something.
If that doesn't work, put the £54 towards a decent radio with mp3 & bluetooth, there is one wire to snip in the vauxhall harness to stop the car display going off when the radio is on.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

Thanks for posting - I tried it but that doesn't work. I had found you tube instructions using the AS button. When I hold in the AS button (even giving it 10 seconds) the radio simply doesn't switch on.
To the dealer it is...0 -

Good luck - although my money would be on what was suggested above, replace the factory HU with something aftermarket and better.0 -
Update for anyone-else searching the net for a solution - Evan Halshaw charged me £54 ran the diagnostics and came back and said "the radio is broke you need a new one."
Vauxhall don't make the radio anymore so they are trying to locate one but the girl said it would be expensive.
Walked painfully to the car and tried the radio - the annoying beeping has stopped but it still comes up and says Program Radio but the radio works. Partial result possibly.
So all in all going somewhere for an aftermarket radio would have been the best bet.
Thanks for all the help along the way - look out for a thread on where to go to get a new radio fitted :beer:0 -
Another reason to never buy a Vauxhall. What a load of crap they put in their cars if this is what their customers have to put up with. I've never had such problems with Ford standard fit radios. (Not saying they're brilliant or infallible, but at least they work and I can programme the code in after reconnecting a battery)0
