Your views on travelrepublic.co.uk??

I am about to book my holiday to Malta through Travelrepublic.co.uk. I have spoken to Sloppychops about this and she has confirmed she has used them before but i just wanted a couple more people to let me know your experience as i have read some very mixed reviews on the internet.

The last thing we want is to book the hotel only to find out its being overbooked or somthing and being moved to another hotel.

Normally the overbooking isnt the UK companies fault. Its the hotel or local agent.
BTW "Med hotels" are the local agent for many internet accom companies.
companies of the the likes of travel republic, lo cost beds, otbeach, find-rooms etc have less leverage than the big tour opps like Thomson, First choice, Thomas Cook etc- thats why their customers get bumped.

We were bumped this year,Im sure we booked with lo cost beds, but the voucher was med hotels however we were reasigned better accom than we had booked so it all worked out ok.

I checked with sloppychops too and i know that she has a vast amount of experience with travel.

i booked a holiday for my parents and it was fine, they had a great time!
