Virgin VIP customer with a faulty Nokia Lumia 620

Hi, I'm totally new to the forum and am looking for some help dealing with Virgin Mobile.

I'm 1 year into a 2 year "VIP" contract with Virgin Mobile with a Nokia Lumia 620. Since getting my phone it has been faulty more than its been functional! I've had problems with the charging port, with the phone losing all network service, with it shutting down and resetting at whim, with buttons (mainly the lock button) not working, and just generally not staying functional for more than five minutes at a time. I have sent the phone off for repair on three separate occasions, a system which is annoying at best, the phone has been returned half fixed or has broken again quickly afterwards, or, in the last instance, returned with a new fault! The repair service is slow and leaves me without a phone for the duration, and you can't speak to the people responsible for fixing the phone, to find out what's going on!

Obviously I've complained! I've spoken to endless people at their customer services, all of whom are unable to do anything except book the phone in for yet another fruitless repair. I've also been into a store and spoken to an incredibly well meaning, but ultimately powerless guy who spoke to their customer services for me, but couldn't get them to do anything except book it in for another repair.

The issues I'm having with the phone are more niggling and irritating than actually prohibitive to its use; normally restarting the phone will fix the issue (most recently a regular "no sim" error) temporarily, or I can get around it - my phone was returned from a lock button fix with a new faulty down volume button, so I've had to download an app to change the volume on my phone.

I'm aware that I'm stuck in the contract, I just wondered if perhaps there was a way to force Virgin to give me a new phone instead of "fixing" a faulty one over and over... I can't imagine living through another year of this! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, sorry for the length of this post!
