What is the best game you have ever played?

Metal Gear Solid the original Playstation title. Completed this enough times to get Snake in a suit/invisible etc. Amazing title which seemed to go a bit downhill ever since.

Gran Turismo on The Playstation was also a firm favourite.

Haven't checked through the previous answers, but the game I have enjoyed the most has to be resi evil 2 on the play station - cracking game! Always remember me and one of my mates deciding to stay up and play it 'til we finished, so about 3 in the morning one of the other lads decided to come down to ours and bang on the windows! We nearly sh*t ourselves!!!!

Not too keen on the t-shirts, but think they look great on cups, especially the opening, journey to the cave monsters scene.

Only ever completed it with unlimited credits on an emulator but can still walkthrough the opening 20ish levels.
Arr the days of praying for an umbrella, potion or lightning bolt to drop, then screaming go go go go :rotfl:

So to kick off: my one is Dark Souls 2 and the entire Dark Souls/Demon Souls series. They are the most hardest, most satisfying games that require genuine skill, patience and intuition to play. I cannot recommend it enough. I play it on PC but it is excellent on any platform.

I'm a World of Warcraft addict, have been for 7 years but I quite like startopia as well.

ps2 - GTA vice city hands down, need for speed underground 2 and then GTA san andreas in that order.
PC - has to be euro truck simulator, yes im one of those saddos, ive now got the complete steering wheel, pedals, gearstick set up. its one of those you expect to be rubbish but is strangely really addictive.
Xbox 360 - now bearing in mind ive only had my xbox 4 weeks tomorrow night, ive really been enjoying GTA5, I had a go at need for speed most wanted but hated it, forza horizon 2 is pretty good though. just bought call of duty advanced warfare tonight, first time playing anything like this and I suck but having fun playing it.
