Does anyone know

Hi all,

It would seem child DLA renewals are taking some time to go through the system, mine is due to expire end of september, form was sent over 1month and half ago and has not even been looked at yet.

What happens if the expiry deadline passes do I have to inform everyone (i.e. tax credits, carers etc) and then reapply once an award is decided or is there a rule like with PIP that says if you've had acknowledgement then they continue until the award?

have tried googling but nothing really come up, I could ring but as they are so busy not sure if that would help.

Anybody been in this situation?

thanks

john

  • They should continue paying or so I've been told as most offices seem to have massive backlogs, but you still have month yet.
