Hello all,
We are going to West Mids Safari Park on the weekend (Sunday) but are travelling up from S Wales on Saturday and back on Monday afternoon. I'm after some suggestions for other things to do in and around the area. We are staying in Tamworth area. We are 2 adults, 2 children (10 and 5). Not looking at a theme park as the 5 year old is too short for the big rides.
Thanks in advance.

Not far from WM safari is stourport. Nice little place with a little fair ground with a good selection of rides for the little ones, go karts, river boat rides, parks, fields, crazy golf and arcades. Not far from that is Severn Trent valley railway, bewdley is a nice little place as well as bridge north.0

If you are neat Tamworth, you are fairly close to Drayton Manor Park. Might be worth considering.0
