I did get it to work eventually but I didn't get asked for an email confirmation, it just said something along the line of 'you have now entered'......strange.

So... how do we score on this? I click, and it can collect one orange or guava, but then plummets to the floor or sky and it's game over!

Keep clicking to keep it off the floor and try to collect the fruit. A quick succession of about 5 clicks a little gap then same again will keep you near the middle.
