I have ordered a dress from a website clothing website and they have only given me credit is this legal. I can also use my credit on fully priced items and not sale items again is this legal???

You need to give the full story.
Did you return the goods or did they say they couldnt fulfill the order?
If you returned them then why? Didnt like them or they were faulty?
When did this happen as the law relatively recently changed? Order date0 -
