Pronorm or Howdens Kitchen

I am building a new house and am at the stage of choosing a kitchen.
I have got a price from howdens and German manufacturer Pronorm and there isn't a big price difference.
Can anyone give advice of have experience of these kitchens?

Hi Seafarer 1
Firstly welcome to the forum!
I suspect the Pronorm kitchen you have been quoted for is from their 'contract' or budget range, not sure what the proper Pronorm name for this range is.
To be honest there probably would not be a huge difference in terms of quality but the Pronorm kitchen would probably fit better, as they would have more unit sizes to choose from. And would probably have a better overall look and feel to a Howdens kitchen which would have a quite dated look in comparison.
As with all kitchens though, assuming its been designed properly, the biggest variable is in the quality of the fitting.
Good luck

Hi CK
Thanks for the welcome.
The Pronorm range is classic line SH range, and has been priced by local kitchen design studio.
I have no worries about fitting as our builder is doing the fitting and he is very good.
I just need to decide if it's worth spending a couple hundred pounds more for the pronorm?0 -
Broadly agree with CK. Prices for kitchen units vary considerably and are often driven more by appearance than by the technical specification.
For the sake of a couple of hundred pounds buy the one you like the most.0 -
Having looked into the pricing of the Pronorm Classic Line I can say that its not much cheaper than the consumer line from Pronorm. It leads me to believe that the Howdens havent offered you their 99% discount.
Either way, I would certainly pick Pronorm over Howdens. Its a better product than anything Howdens can ever produce with better detailing. We’ve had to remove your signature. Looks like Pronorm may be the best to go for as I don't mind paying a little extra for a quality product.0
