New log burning stove not happy with finish

    Right I scrubbed the slate and removed some linseed oil, it now looks more satin than this time yesterday glossy and before the linseed oila dull grey. I didn't mind the dullness but hated the look in the tiny holes which had a blondish grout in. At least that doesn't show now.

    I rang the shop where we got the burner from and he is getting us some heat proof spray paint for the top of the burner.
