    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi all

Well done everyone on the deep cleaning exercises. If it helps at all, we had a super cheeky mouse run across the floor after having our patio doors open!! They are much too cocky at this time of the year out here in the forest!

I have had a very challenging day, starting with dropping my mobile phone in the bath and spending 6 hours trying to revive it. Finally spoke to a nice man at the company who has fixed it, but have now signed up for mobile phone insurance (using this site for guidance), as I had a breakdown thinking about having to buy a replacement for a phone I bought 4 months ago, I figured the £5/month is a good investment for my sanity!!
I have enough money for the rest of my life... as long as I never have to pay for anything again!

  • Evening/night all, just about posting in time for today's list!

My money saving efforts for today are:
B/l from stores. Dinner was chippy near oh's work so that we could then go for a family trip to the park. A bit of a treat, but lovely, quality (free!) family time afterwards.
Parked a little further away and walked to park, saving around £2.
Birthday present picked up for sister in law - 50% off ticket price :)
Posted an item sold on eb@y
Sold another item after being made an offer - no charges to change the price, so was happy to do. All ready for the trip to the post office tomorrow.
Went to shop for bread and came out with only bread!

Then, of course, on the way home the car is registering a new fault and is not running right. I'm sure the car knows when payday is and starts playing up. I think it has done this before, so I'm hoping it isn't too expensive. Fingers crossed.
