Contact details for Electricity national database
Hi
Can anyone help!! and give me contact details for the electricity national database. I have dealt with Scottish power, British gas and EDF whilst attempting to switch and explained time and time again that the details on the national database are wrong.
Non of the afore mentioned companies seem to be able to resolve the situation. They do start to take details and I have screeds of emails and online chats that I have gone through but to no avail they just don't seem to be able to sort this out.
Therefore, I am unable to obtain dual fuel or switch to a better product. This has been the situation for three years. Goodness knows how much more I could have been saving !
I am now going to write to each of the companies to make a formal complaint. then pass this to the utility ombudsman
Does anyone have any experience in doing likewise and best approach to doing this

If your details are wrong on the main database then until your current supplier fixes this you will not be able to switch.
No one but your current supplier can do this, so complaining about anyone else will end up telling you just that.
What exactly is meant to be wrong on the database?0
