how hard is it to install a washing machine (Currys)

i bought a washing machine from Currys however their installation people have made a total mess of the installation. For some odd reason one of the pipes has come off and there is about half a bucket of water over the floor.
I'm seriously annoyed as its obvious to me that they didn't connect the pipe to the extension pipe correctly. This is also the second delivery attempt they made as the first time they didn't bother coming
Is there any chance that i can sue currys for providing me with incompetent staff and wasting my time.
I would suggest that people avoid currys as their staff have an extremely low level of training

The pipe is not quite connected right.
I would just ring them and get them
To re do it .
Unless you've incurred damage?0 -
Not sure about suing them, but maybe have a quiet word about what's happened?0

yes its obvious the pipe isnt connected right but my point is that it should be basic knowledge if you are fitting a washing machine to make sure the pipes are connected correctly. Im not exactly sure what else they had to do apart from connect the pipes together. The whole reason for paying for installation is that i assumed i was getting an expert service from a skilled knowledgeable person. this obviously isnt the case
not to mention the fact that they dont bother waiting until the test run is finished.
The annoying thing is that currys aren't treating this as an urgent issue in that they have said the next earliest appointment is in about 4 days0 -

So, complain and ask for compensation for time wasted and poor workmanship.
If there is any damage, claims costs from them.
Suing is far too American!0 -
hang on
waht pipes were not connected properly?
the pipes they connected (ie the washer machine hoses) or something before that (ie your installation?)
and yes, i believe you can sue for damage (only quantifiable losses though) and it may be a kerfuffle0
