Car lease post IVA

Hi All


Does anyone know if it is possible to lease a car after an IVA (has anyone managed to do this and who with?) IVA completed a few months ago and my completion certificate has been issued but my credit score is shocking!!

    After 5 years cars that are on their last legs are a worry to a lot of us.

    Yep, this is why I want to lease a new little car but not sure if I can

  • It will be possible - once you have sorted out your credit files.

    If you have only recently got your certificate, it may take a few Months for things to filter down to the credit agencies.

    best get a copy of your credit report from all 3, to check for any outstanding 'dafaults' or 'notices of correction'.

    Once that is sorted, your score should bounce back to something resembling 'good'. at that point, you will find a lot more people willing to lease you a car.
