Looking for a good quality reasonably priced hotel in Dublin for October.
Doesn't have to be right in the centre but within walking distance would be good.
Thanks in advance.

the harding hotel is a fantastic hotel
just round the corner from the temple bar area, easy to reach when you get of the airbus.
just been done up
and if you price it with octopus.com it is cheaper than booking direct with the hotel and included breakfast.0 -
The Camden De Lux . You can walk to the Temple Bar area from there.0

Good call! I've suggested the Harding a few time on MSE. I've stayed there a couple of times and have had friends from the U.S. stay there as well. Excellent location, within easy walking distance of Temple Bar area; clean; not too expensive and friendly staff. Also, a good bar (Darkey Kelly's) for a late night tipple! :beer:There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more...0 -
Thank you to all for your helpful replies.
Will look into both hotels.

I'd recommend doing a search on venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance)
PM me if you want a 4% discount code.
I think it's a good idea to check out this website even if you find hotels cheaper elsewhere, as the descriptions and maps are generally better than other sites in my opinion.
Hope that helps
PS - I'm not connected to this website in any way, and I don't gain anything from this post. I also found the discount code on another forum.0 -
I stayed at the North Star hotel its a 3* one, cant remember where it was. I booked it under the secret hotels on lastminute.com but it was kinda easy to figure out which it was from the other ads on teh site. i got two nights for two adults last december for £90 for both of us for both nights. no complaints, helpful staff etc.Professional Photographer with a love of bargain hunting..
