Hi Guys,
My ex wife booked an Easyjet return flight to Spain for my son who is 10 to go with the rest iof the family at Christmas time.
I am now having him over Chritmas in the UK but i said i would pay for the flight for him (if i had to if they were out of pocket) so suprise suprise she is saying the flight is £150.
Is there anyway of knowing if she can get the money refunded and or if i can contact Easyjet and see what they can do.
Thing is i wouldnt want to hand over the money then she booked she could get something (or all of it) back.
As a distant dad..every little helps.
I would appreciate your advice.
Cheers
J

According to the easyjet website there is no refund due: http://support.easyjet.com/case-4057
However I am sure that I have seen on here before that you can claim back the APD tax? I may be wrong but hang fire and see if anyone else can assist you.Lea

She will have an email confirmation of the price - let her give you a copy.
You could go on their website and price the ticket yourself.0 -

Wouldn't that just show the current price which would not necessarily be what the OP's ex paid for the flight?
I agree that it should be pretty easy for her to prove what she paid for his ticket.0 -
It will give an idea of price bearing in mind prices may well be more expensive at Christmas.0
