i need to renew my car insurance in 2 weeks and i managed to get 2 quotes (through quidco) which were cheaper than my renewal quote:
1- prudential (paying £100 cashback)
2- Lloyds (paying £120 cashback)
any recommendations? do they realy pay the cashback as without the payment they will work out more expensive than my renewal quote!!!

Yes - renewed hubby's car insurance in Feb this year with Lloyds TSB via Quidco and got £120 cashback paid into bank in April. Doing the same for my car insurance now and looking at Prudential for the £100 cashback as gave lower quote than Lloyds. Just checking forums to see if any feedback for Prudential.0

I insured my car with prudential last month. It tracked straight away with quidco. I have not been paid yet though. I insured the house with churchill and that is now being chased up by quidco. So I would recommend prudential myself. Both the quotes were cheaper than the company I had them with before so I look on the cashback as a bonus.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Can I jump in on this thread with a related question. I've managed to get a few quotes that I'm interested in but have since noticed that one or two of the insurance companies are listed on Quidco with a nice cash back. I'm wondering if I'll still be edgible for the cash back if I go through Quidco and retrieve the old quote and pay for it or would I be advised to restart the who quote process (yawn) again to get the cashback?
What do you think?£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190 -
Not sure. But if I were you, I would clear the cookies and then do the whole process again just to be on the safe side. We are talking a lot of money as cashback so wouldnt take any chances.0

We did our car insurance with Prudential and got the £100 back.
Then did my mum and dads when theirs was ready. They also got their £100 back.
Will certainly be looking at doing it again next year. "Never save something for a special occasion. Every day in your life is a special occasion". _party_0 -
Well, I too have gone the same route and my £100 has tracked successfully. However, the big question is if Prudential can afford to pay such a big cashback on their already small premium, what are the chances of us receiving any money if we do find ourselves in a situation to claim ? Is it worth risking a big claim amount for a low premium and a cashback which may not even be 5% of the actual claim amount ?0

I have a query..
Say if I happen to take out two policies with Prudential (we have more than 1 car to insure here), would I be eligible for quidco cashback twice? (i.e. £200) or is it only just the once?0 -

Am sure two separate policies means two legitimate transactions through quidco so you should get £200.0 -
a lot of people have success with quidco
