Memory Foam Mattress Reviews

We've been thinking of getting a memory foam mattress for a while now, but last week OH had her appendix out and is now having problems sleeping because she is unable to sleep on her side or roll over, so I'd like to rush things along.

I've spend hours online looking for memory foam mattress reviews, but cant seem to find any - just pages and pages of ads.

So far I'm leaning towards these two:

Breasley Flexcell New Generation 25 Mattress
http://www.bedworlddirect.co.uk/breasley-flexcell-newgen-mattress.html
I like this one because of the 2cm extra soft foam and castellated foam layers for air flow.

Synergy 9000 i-plus mattress
http://www.flexcell.co.uk/Mattresses/c35/p930/Synergy_9000_i-plus_mattress/product_info.html
I like the look of this one because of the 37 degree climate control tech. I tend to get hot in bed so this is attractive to me.

I cant find decent indepth reviews for either though, other than Which Magazine - but I'm not really into the idea of paying £10 a month for it though. Can anyone advise? Thanks.

Your going to find it hard to find reviews. One area to check though is mattressman.co.uk, sometimes they can have reviews of matresses as well as provide detail info on a matress.

You're telling me. The Americans seem good at reviewing, you can find reviews for their American mattresses all over the internet and Youtube. We dont seem to be doing that over here.

When they first became popular, I found Tempur attractive but very expensive, but later, when needing a pillow, I found theirs much too solid, so bought a Slumberdown. This and is still comfortable after two years, so I imagine their mattresses to be as good.

I don't know what brand of mattress my daughter-in-law's mum had, but it disintegrated within two years.

This is why I'm keen to get a review or feedback from someone that owns one - to avoid these sorts of issues.

We have a tempur memory foam mattress and find it very comfy, this is for a rise/recline bed so while being the firmest one we can have for this, it is still fairly soft so I'm not sure what their firmer mattresses are like. We have had it six years, no signs at all of wear, it also bad a zipped cover that you can take off and wash.

Someone posted on here that Tempur are good, but not necessarily the best. They do seem to be the most expensive though. At £1200 a pop I'm looking for something half as expensive tops!

Indeed there are, but I need reviews that relate to the items I posted, or advice from an expert or knowledgeable person.
