Family of 5 Brussels please!

Hello guys,

2 Adults with 3 kids(all less than 10) visiting Brussels for few days via eurostar.

How could i get a reasonable hotel? Anyone gone their with large 'contigent' like this as well?

Hi,

There is a myriad of hotels in Brussels.

You can check booking.com for example, choose a hotel and call them, sometimes you can get a lower price if you reserve over the phone rather than via Internet. Business is slow at this time of the year, so I wouldn't be surprised that you get an interesting price from business hotels.

Let me know if you need specific MSE info, Brussels is my hometown.

We used to use Novotel when our three were all under 10, they have a lot of hotels with inter-connecting rooms of which you cn usually get the second half price. We just used to leave the connecting door open and treat is as one big room.

With a big family.

I find one hotel that is cheap but reviews says the area is flooded by prostitute both day and night. I dont mind but worried of kids. It is called Theater hotel

Ah. I understand your concern. The area is pretty close to the Red Light District around the North Station. Prostitution generates a number of problems in Brussels sadly, even in the posher areas.

What I would suggest is that you find a hotel near the Grand-Place with rooms for 4 people, call them and explain your situation, they may accept to put an additional bed in the room for the third child. Don't hesitate to ask to speak to the hotel manager.
