I like the Ts and Cs that say something along the lines of "up to 2 adults and 2 children"... Much more straightforward :)

It's all really about personal attitudes. I only enter competitions appropriate to me. If there is a survey about something I have no interest in or no knowledge of I miss it no matter the prize... some people make up answers or click no for everything and enter anyway. If it's a family holiday designed for people with children I enter because I have two boys... if I had no children I wouldn't enter. I suppose for me it's just not a win anything at any cost type of situation. If the prize is more appropriate for someone else I don't enter. I could enter everything and sell on / give away what I don't need but I'd rather someone else had the joy of winning something for themselves that they need. For those saying well why should I miss out because I don't have children you can enter all you want... just remember though that for every one of these prizes won by people without children it means children missing out on these holidays and 1/2 the prize is going to waste.

I dont enter for holidays as i couldnt afford the spending money to go with them. My kids are 11 and 8 and NEVER been on a holiday. Money just simply isnt there. I think there is plenty of holidays for couples etc and family holidays should be just that.

sorry to bring it back up but the other thing i think of when considering these competitions is yes i have 2 babies but both are currently under 3, which are usually free/disregarded when paying entrance fees etc on everything so would they be counted as 2 children or not as they are disregarded for most other things?

    Ask the promoter.

I have the classic set-up, but our children are autistic and hate any change in routine, so going on holiday is viewed as the worst possible torture we could inflict on them... :(

One day though, I'll be going for all those couples holidays. NYC will be on my 2025 wishlist :D

My family consists of me and my 19 year old autistic son. I always enter 'family holiday' comps and hope the day I am lucky enough to win the promoter accepts that family to me is just the two. :)

Though to him (my son) to win a holiday to Disneyland would be like 50 Christmases rolled into one.... for me it would be hell on earth as I have a HUGE fear of folk in costumes :embarasse I once nearly sparked out SpongeBob Squarepants in a local shopping centre  But I guess that story is for a whole different forum ;)

To OP...as for your question I have no idea, but as soon as I win one I will let you know! ;) Good luck! xx

You could always take somebody else along, just for the ride.

I hope you win a holiday soon,Good Luck.
