I must have tried to grow those on around 4 occasions, had 1 flower in total, there must be a knack but I don't have it.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

i have heard that seed raised plants aren't the best, so what's needed is good, named stock.

I can't vouch for this, but plants I bought from an impeccable source have repeat flowered for me and they're just in pots at the moment.

You may be correct, I've bought these from Parkers in the past who to be honest are normally fine and supply decent bulbs or tubers whichever it is. I also have the same problems with Freesias

Hot, dry, sunny, light soil. I've grown them quitely succesfully in large pots in a sunny spot. The ones in the hot border I had to dig some out on occasion they grew like weeds.

Freesias on the other hand, no luck at all.

I have only ever tried to grow them in pots to be honest, must have another go ;);)

Yes Freesias, I may get 2 flowers from 15 bulbs. Those 2 seem to regrow next year too inspite of being left outside.
