Do Holiday Inn (uk) provide irons?

When booking a room in Holiday Inn in the uk, do they provide irons,

and do you have to request these on the actual day you stay there at the receptionist ?

or you have to request an iron when you book them, weeks before?

  • I don't know, but I'd find it hard to believe they wouldn't be able to give you an iron on the day if you needed one!

    Even Travelodge do this.

This might be better asked in the UK Holidays Forum instead of Overseas.

Holiday Inns are franchised, so you would be best to ask the hotel in question. As above, I would expect they would have them at reception if not in the room.

Depends which one you are staying in.

When I stay at the HI in Harrogate, they have iron and ironing board in every room. When I stay in HI express in Birmingham, they are kept in reception and the staff either bring it up, or you can take it up yourself.

One HI I stayed in had an ironing room on each floor. But ALL of them had irons you could borrow FOC, just ask on reception when you need it. It will disappear from your room the following morning though.

Are you going on a golfing holiday then?

I've stayed in plenty of HIs and never not been able to get an iron - either in the room or brought up on request.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
