Tenpin bowling...

My friend and I went to tenpin bowling in cambridge in the 11th. It was a total nightmare. We normally go there a lot (at least 5 times a month) and no problem.
This time we went on an unlimited bowling night (£10 - min 3 games...more if not busy) and it was just problem after problem.
It took us a hour and a half to complete three games as we had to change lanes three times, reset our pins over 40 times and ask for the bumpers to be put down on all three lanes (which each time we had to remind them after waiting two minutes). After finally thinking we could play we then had to switch to a new lane for the fourth time, After reporting it to the manager on duty we were told there would be no refund or vouchers and we could either have free food - which we had already eaten or a free 'round' of drinks. Since there was only the two of us and my friend was driving I found this insufficient.
I sent an email to tenpin h/o via email that very night. I'm just so angry about the whole thing. Anything else I could do?

Id write again directly to the manager of the place that you went to rather than to a head office. Explain how often you visit and that the offer wasnt sufficient enough.
Id of thought that a couple of free games wouldnt be to much to ask for0 -
So did you get the unlimited games then or was it too late to play by this point?
I'd say the managers offer was more than generous if you got games in since it would have been over half the value of the cost, not his fault you refused it! You might get a fiver voucher if you pursue it, if not put it down to technical probs and rue eating early!0 -
Its also not the OP's fault they were moved 4 times,No Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20
