This is a special year for the Islands as we celebrate the last 60 years of our culture and heritage. So, we’re kicking off proceedings by inviting cocktail and food lovers from across the UK to create their own BVI inspired rum cocktail and bring the party spirit of the islands alive in their own homes. - See more at: http://www.bvitourism.co.uk/bviparty#sthash.Sl3aCP6M.dpufLet us know how you celebrate. Are you a straight up Rum connoisseur or do you mix it up with the contents of your fruit bowl? Do you drown your Rum in Coconut or perk it up with Pineapple? However you mix we want to find the finest mixologist out there.
The ten best cocktails will be selected by our first-class team of cocktail tasters, and will win a bottle of The BVI’s own Pussers Rum and an inspired by the BVI HIHO T-shirt. You and your cocktails will also feature here on the website later in the summer.
Aspiring mixologists can submit their recipes by using the #BVIParty hashtag on Twitter any time before midnight on the 15th of August. You must be over 21 years of age to be eligible to win a prize.

1. The promoter is ADPR (company no.3872975) whose registered office is at The Old Apple Store, West Lambrook, Somerset, United Kingdom, TA13 5HZ
2. Employees of The BVI Tourist Board, ADPR or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

5. Closing date for entry will be August 16th 2014. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
6. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

8. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

10. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
11. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by ADPR.
12. The winner will be notified within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
13. The promoter will notify the winner when the prize will be dispatched.
14. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
16. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
