Work Focused Interview

Hi,i am on PIP and my husband is my carer,he is the one claiming Income Support.I am confused as to why I have to attend this interview when its my husband claiming.Could anybody explain to me why and what this interview is all about.

    You have to attend.
    The idea is that at some point in the future, you may not be in the same position.
    It is considered a good idea to offer you support that may keep you in some ways in touch with work - for example, offering you courses to keep you up to speed, or gain new skills.

    Your husband will be claiming an element of IS for you too. Therefore you will have to attend this interview so that the JC+ can see whether there is anything they can offer to help you into work. I have heard other people say that these interviews are pretty low key and not at all threatening.
