Backdated Holiday / Overtime Payments

Has anyone seen anything about this or know how to go about a claim without using lawyers or a trade union?
As it goes, the European Court has ruled that when you go on holiday, if you do overtime your employer should pay you an average and not just your basic hourly rate.
It says this can be claimed back from 1998, I've done thousands of hours during that period and was paid just a flat rate.
Thanks.
Neil.

Not sure this forum is the correct place to ask, this is the PPI and general insurance board!
Regardless, I can't see any employer looking favourably on such a claim. How on earth have you managed to do "thousands of hours" of overtime while on holiday?
Can your firm not cope without you when you are on leave?
You'll very definitely need professional help if you are to have any hope of advancing this.0 -
Neil,
You posted this in the PPI Reclaim forum whereas your claim is related to employment
Best repost or ask the board mods to move it to the jobs forum where someone might be aware of this issue and advise of suitable professional help

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
