in Credit cards
I have several online store accounts. Although they offer credit I prefer to pay at once online for any purchases (just as I clear my Barclaycard monthly). However the payments do not always show up at once on some accounts (I have no idea why as I pay with my Visa card.)
Can an online shop charge an additional admin fee for accepting online payments (like the ghastly Ticketmaster)?

They can charge fees for different payment types, if the additional cost can be justified.0

Yes they can - you have the choice of taking your business elsewhere if you do not want to pay.
Unfortunately with ticket sales the consumer gets shafted all ways eg I bought tickets at the beginning of the year to see the Quo in Liverpool in December - tickets have been debited to my card immediately but I won't see them before a week before the gig - even if I COLLECTED the tickets from the venue I would still be charged a fee.0
