Successful PPI claim

Hi all,
HBS wrote to me some time ago suggesting I review whether I had PPI on a loan that was settled some time ago. I didn't think I had but their letter prompted me to make a claim. To my absolute shock I recieved an offer on Saturday for £7386. Now I am wondering when I will get the cheque, is the general experience of people that the 28 day rule is mostly correct?
We are in absolute shock... but will now be reviewing other loans and cards we had.
If anyone can give me an indication of whether we are likely to receive our payment within the 28 days I would appreciate it.
Isn't funny, I didn't know about it, but now I am impatient to have it. :j
