I've been thinking about trying a cross stitch cushion kit. I noticed that you can buy a backing and was wondering how you attach it? I was thinking about something like this, I've done cross stitch before but I've never tried a cushion. Thanks

  • They look nice!

I've made up several cushions, it's quite easy. Once you've pressed your finished work, pin it front-to-front with your backing piece of fabric and then sew it around 3 sides. Fit a suitable zip in the 4th (usually the lower edge) and you're done! There'll be web, including YouTube tutorials galore to help you with the finishing up stages.

    Enjoy!
