    I think the OP finding the idea that Amsterdam has a mouse/rat problem 'laughable'....is in itself laughable....Everywhere has mice and rats but canals and old buildings are a rodents playground.

    Do you never eat at McDonalds? Every drive through has rat boxes lining the walls. The sealed boxes are safe for animals and children. cant see what the concern is.
