Quite a few posts on ukwhite goods for this model.
If brave you might be able to set the door switch and watch inside when running, If there water getting to the spray arm it will go everywhere so have a towel to cover the gaps.
If you take te spray arms off to check them make sure they are completly free of bits, you need to pore water in anch check it comes out all the holes and give a shake and make sure you can hear no bits rattle in the arms.
here is the upper spray arm replacement guide

If it has the black seal at the back for the upper basket check that is not split, this has gone twice on our dishwasher. <£5 delivered for ours..0 -

I am really worried about getting the old one out. There is no way I would be able to do it myself and I dread to think what an engineer would charge for 6 hours work! I have already been warned that it would be difficult to get out without damaging the tiles (which were very expensive).
Does anyone know if tiles 'match' in the same way as wallpaper - ie you should buy them all at the same time and with the same batch number in case of variations in colour? You can still get the same tiles but I don't have any spares, apart from a few off-cuts.
I can't keep the dishwasher forever while it's not working and/or keep paying for expensive repairs just to avoid expense and damage so am going to have to bite the bullet! Even if I didn't want another dishwasher - which I do - I would be wasting space where I could have another cupboard.
All my appliances are integrated but I would advise anyone against it!
Its not that bad. Trick is to get two long thin strips put vaseline and slide feet on these. I have tiles no cracks. Disconnect power and hoses job done.
I have a beko - really good. Have had to replace the main circuit board on the door but that was only 30 notes0 -
Issue could be if the floor was tiled after the dishwasher went in, if there isn't enough adjustment left in the legs, or as often happens the gearing to the remote wheels/legs at the rear has seized, then you could be in for fun.
Mine is like that but I managed to pack up to the level of the tiles leaving the plastic packers in place. I can remove the DW in 10mins at most.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

What do you mean about the door switch?
I've checked the arms and they definitely seem OK. There is no black seal behind the upper basket.
I've got someone coming to have a look and give me a price for installing a new one on Friday. They said £60 is the normal price but could end up being more depending on how easy/hard it is to get out. They did warn me previously that it might be hard to get out but I definitely want a new one so will have to keep my fingers crossed.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Hi, I had a similar problem with mine and it turned out the top rack was not running fully back and engaging with the water inlet, so the water was just gushing down inside the back of the machine and not turning the arms. I make sure I push it in all the way and now it works (touch wood).I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0

.
If you flick the door switch you can get it running with the door open a bit and check if te arms are working.
How does the water get into the upper spray arm if that is attached to the basket there will be a seal somewhere for when it get pushed back in.0
