Travel Insurance minus health cover.

I am 79 and planning to visit family in Australia. I have recently recovered from breast cancer and have secondary bone cancer in my shoulder. As I have dual citizenship health cover isn't such a concern but I am wondering if I can get cover for cancellation & loss of luggage only? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Who have you asked?
If nobody try and get a specialist broker to help - most mainstream insurance policies tend to be one fits all so may not be what you want.0 -
Home insurance will normally cover your possessions if you have Personal Possessions/ All Risks cover
You'd be comfortable being in Australia for 9 months if you were serious injured and unable to catch a regular flight? Medivac from Australia would be exceptionally expensive.
If you are comfortable with the cancer risk you could look at a travel insurer that simply excludes pre-existing conditions so that you do have cover for other illnesses or accidents.0
