I am in the process of purchasing a property. I am due to complete tomorrow. I was sat in a friends conservatory yesterday afternoon and it was very pleasant being this time of year (summertime). I also won a prize in a competition recently meaning I am entitled to 25% off a conservatory at a certain store.
My next door neighbor has a conservatory. Please click here for a picture: https://www.dropbox.com/sc/n9v870zq2zg3a5b/AACDpLqIQaqfL_UjOM2ZdiFFa from my garden. How much would a conservatory like this cost approximately to buy and build (by a builder).

unsure , but I have always liked the half brick half glass look.0

we had a double glazed one-one solid brick wall-with a row of windows at the top (non opening), half brick for the rest.approx 10X15-at a guess-cost us £15k approx.it's got a polycarbonate roof
our current one looks like this ,but door is on the angled front ,and we have 4 windows down the side-if that's at all clear...

i thought the one in my link was more like 5k?0 -
I would never have a conservatory again. Too hot and bright in the summer and too cold in the winter (even with a radiator as part of the central heating.) I would go for a room with a proper roof with sky lights.0

We have a south facing garden. Rad off the central heating.
Poly roof means its not quite so hot as when we had a single glaze much smaller one with a glass roof. When it rains though, you do know it!!! Luckily we kept the doors into the lounge so can shut it off.
We use this all year....while back garden has been at over 30 though we have stayed in lounge with a ceiling fan.
Sorry I could not tell you what one like yours would be. Our much smaller single glaze one-I think cost £2k, but that would have been quite a while ago.0 -
Pinches half your garden, hot in summer, cold in winter, you neither feel like you're inside or outside, plastic and glass to get dirty, nothing but a glorified greenhouse but ponced up to be sold at ridiculously over-inflated prices.
A conservatory is a place to peacefully mellow away a relaxing day. Nah, somewhere to dry the clothes and dump the vacuum cleaner.
Not my cup of tea.Mornië utulië0 -

And the suitcases.
If you need the extra space and want to use it all year round, don't get a conservatory.
I have a consevatory and love using between late April and late September but I don't need the extra space and only use it when it is at the right temperature.0 -
My conservatory was 12k, 2 walla are brick built to 3/4 height. It has a glass roof and full width bifold doors. 12k was a discounted price as a family member worked at the firm. Mine is huge though, not just a small addition.0

I would say about £8k for that size and style of conservatory, a bit more if you had a glass roof0
