How To Put More Ram in a Dell 1501

I saw an offer on ebuyer for RAM Crucial Ballistix 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 667MHz/PC2-5300 CL3 2.1 V unbuffered non-ECC for £51.99. According to someone on Hotdeals this is very good ram. I was wondering how hard it was to add Ram to a Dell 1501 laptop. I already have 2GB of Ram in it, can it take 4gb and would it be worth doing ?

Use the Crucial guide, I was a novice on upgrading but found it really easy.

according to this you only have 2 memory slots with a max of 1gb per slot, do the scan to make sure0 -
The Hotdeals ram is 240 pin. Laptops generally require 200 pin ram. As mjmal51 suggests, use the Memory Advisor Tool at http://www.crucial.com/uk/ to find the correct ram for your laptop.0
