    Morning all,

Still horribly humid here and sooooo hot we have had a few drops of rain but nothing much the air feels like it needs a good storm.

We went into town yesterday and got a few bits and bobs, I treated myself to a new pair of Birkenstock sandals, I find that they take a little while to 'wear in' to your feet but one they do they are the most comfortable shoes ever, I live in mine at home in the summer.

Chicken for dinner tonight will have with some new pots and a salad too hot for anything much else.

Little dos is much better noe (thanks Lamewolf x) she starved herself for a good 12 hours and then ate a bowl of cooked chicken, it must have been a bug.

Wm is on the go, and once everyone is up (dd) and back from thr boot sale (OH) we will have a good clean through.

Will take little dog up the woods later on for a stroll, its blissfully cool up there.

Meanmarie, hope you are ok xx

    Have good days all xx

    Morning all
MM, hope you are ok, I had a colonoscopy last year & poss another one later this year.
    Hugs to Molly & Hilly.
The car has been washed, the WM & DW are both on & I have some washing on the line.
My joints are painful this morning but at least I have nice trim ankles this morning after resting yesterday, it won't last, back to work tomorrow & they will be up like balloons, an eight week term is proving bloody hard.
I have a stack of dry washing to put away, and that's about all I'll get done today probably.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester
    Chin up, Titus out.

    Morning all,

lovely sunny day here but not too warm as yet.

Hubby is spending the day in the garden. Ive got enough for me to do in the house to keep me busy but I'm lacking motivation.

    Oh well, best start somewhere.

    Onwards and forwards,

    Have a great day all.

My dbb (darling baby brother) has offered me a lift to the hospital to see Mum this afternoon :D.

Decided to put the 'extra couple of hours saved' to good use and finally completed the repairs to the sleeves of my favourite blouse :j. I've even 'oversewn' the seams to finish them off properly smiley-score010.gif.

    Afternoon all,

Thank you all for kind enquiries.....Friday wasnt wonderful as clearout prep wasnt enough to thoroughly view bowel, so there is another colonoscopy scheduled for 8 weeks time, not sure what went wrong, did exactly as I was told.

Making coronation in a bit for dinner as too heavy weatherwise to have a hot meal.

Enjoy the rest of Sunday, thank you all for being my friends

    Evening all,

Just had a downpour and a bit of a storm. I do love them.

Feeling a bit peed off with DH. I've spent most of my spare time the last three days trying to find a cheapish holiday for the three of us. I had narrowed it down to four then together we ended up with two. I chose which one to book (as DH likes to have someone to blame if something isn't right). So got a good way through the booking process and he decides it's too expensive. Yeah, sometimes you get what you pay for...

Hugs to those that need them and have an enjoyable evening.

Good evening chums eldest Dd has flown off to Greece and youngest Dd phoned and said did I want to got to Westgate as it was hot and sticky so we went with one of the boys and she went 'crabbing' and I sat on the front with my book and watched all and sundry .Then it started to spit with rain so she treated us to cheesy chips (naughty but delicious ) we shared a huge bowl then a nice mug of tea.The rain started to fall a bit more so we thought it was time to move around the coast to perhaps whitstable. On the way there the heavens opened so we drove home and it was teeming down with thunder and lightening. The storm has passed over now but its still a bit sticky.I am going to try to get a Drs appointment tomorrow as the gnat bites I had from 2 weeks ago look infected and my legs are still itching like mad and I have huge red/blue weals on them and lots of blisters. Not a good look at all I have tried everything under the sun on them and Dd thinks its time for the Dr to see them.I hate the thought of bothering the Dr but they are just not clearing up at all.So fingers crossed for an appointment in the morning. My immnune sytem is shot after have had chemo, and DD thinks it maybe why its not clearing up.Oh dear more problems, never mind I am off to have a long tepid shower to try and cool down
M/Marie hope you get through the next test better, rotten things that they are. All good fun growing old ,not :):):)
    Take care everyone

I don't know if you are all still up, but just popped on as I'm back from my little break :)
We had a lovely time, 1 night in pontypool and 1 night in great malvern. We were supposed to stay another night away but couldn't decide where to go so thought we'd come home and save the money!
We visited a lovely museum of old buildings in wales called st fagans, also blaenavon ( not sure on spelling) where they filmed the bbc series coal house. Went to a huge flea market this morning in the malverns and had a bit if a spend (all bargains ofc)
Kids had house tidy but hadn't put the bin out since we left so house was stinky - how they could bear it I don't know!

MM - sorry you have to go through test again
JackieO - hope dr sorts you out, it isn't shingles is it?

At museum we saw a communal oven and I was telling DH that that was the origin of the pat-a-cake rhyme. Then at home DS2 said that the sky was red so I said "red sky at night, shepherds delight" and DS1 said "what does that even mean?" And DS2 said "is that the one when a sailor drowns at sea?" So I explained about the weather and making glasses sing. I think they all think I'm crackers quite honestly!

Hugs to those who need them, have a good night all xx
